Each year Toastmasters holds contests for International Speech, Table Topics, Humorous Speech and Evaluations. The contests begin at the club level and advance through the Area, Division and District levels to the final International Speech.

The Area 34 and Area 36 contest will be held Feb. 4, 2012 from 12:00 pm to 3:00 pm at the Mansour Center, 995 Roswell Street, Marietta, GA 30060. The Division D contest will be held Saturday March 24, 2012 from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm at 1000 EMC Parkway, Marietta, GA 30060. Attending Toastmasters speech contests is a great way to learn techniques to make your own speeches sizzle!
Our Competent Communicator speech contest will begin Wednesday January 4. This contest is open to all members who are working to complete the 10 speeches in the Competent Communicator manual. Contestants will earn 3 points for doing an evaluation and 5 points for making a speech. They will also earn 2 points for every Competent Leader activity which is signed off in their CL manual that day. The contest will run for 5 months. We will give monthly prizes to the Toastmaster who earns the most points that month and will give a grand prize at the end of the contest.
